Thanks guys
Well Chad... this is a long "short story". For a long time I wanted to have a monster pet. For a long time I wanted to create products with it... toys, prints, t-shirts... and also take it to the streets in the form of stickers/stencils... For sometime now I've been studying all about signage design too. Also, I've been having this thoughts about creative interaction between artists. And perhaps make something out of it. Like an exhibition, for example. The only problem is that for a very looooong time I've been busy as hell.
I'm also part of a group of artists that has the japanese culture as main theme in our work. From time to time we gather and do something together, like our last series of stickers, based on Hokusai's Tsunami. You can see them here

To cut to the chase... last week we had our first exhibition together. But until then I had nothing done... I was kinda desperate and ithout ideas.Every project i had in mind was very complicated and expensive ... until suddenly, a little more then a week ago, in a very very cold night, Monsu was born. And with that all my wishes came true. I can't stop thinking about it, creating new stuff, giving excuses to all my clients...
The monsuteru.com is already in progress, and soon you will find everything about the concept and how you will be able to interact with Monsu.
The first series,
Monsuteru Xing, is almost done. It has Monsu interacting with japanese street signage. I'll do the next one,
Monsuteru Laundry, next month. By then the first prints and products will be available
I'll post the postcards in a moment.
Hope you all like it!!!
