A Scanner Darkly

HERE you'll find the new Linklater movie.
With a weird animation/cellshading/stuff rendering.
Interesting.
Hope the story will follow.

Looks neat. I like the more hand-drawn look that it has at some parts and the more photo-y part is kinda annoying. But it looks neat.

Neo can't sound seriously surprised, no matter what he does. "There's a what in my what?"

Cool...not a fan of Keanu though.

Well, coming from a girl, he is nice to look at so i'll go see his stuff but
his on screen presentation has about as much expression as a pile of poop.

Is it just me, or does this sound strikingly familiar to the screenplay Charlie Kaufman's fake brother Donald writes in 'Adaptation?'

This film may well surpass Minority Report and Blade Runner as "The Best Adaptation of a Phillip K. Dick Story." Linklater's been blowin' up lately and I really dug "Waking Life." Now if only Soderburgh could invest some of his older visual style into his new stories.

I was sorely disappointed when Chris Cunningham dropped out of this project (it totally would've been one mindfuck of a movie if he wrote/directed it), but I'm really glad Linklater was there to pick up the slack. The rotoscoping/animation looks like it could work. I'm looking forward to this despite Keanu...
