Heh, I've had those days. I'm generally just impossible to be made happy until I take a step back and I'm all "Wait...this is stupid."

Another new copper!
The town and colours are beautiful and the story is left on quite a sad note but it's a nice subject.
I really hope Fred manages to cheer up!

"Forever".... Are you talking about "forever" between strips, or "forever" in the execution of a strip once you sit down to do it? How long are these taking you?

Whatever it is, seems worth it. I do love me some Copper... Keep it up, Kazu.

Thanks guys!

Steve > It just takes me forever to draw and color, or I think it just feels like it. This is probably because I'm scheduling about 4 days for Copper instead of 2 like before, since I spend half of each day working on Amulet. Copper always takes me longer to do than anything else.

*spies two of the Copper girls in panel 4* Are they ever going to have names Kazu? So far I've given to calling the one with the "P" on her shirt Polly and the glasses one Bridget because she first appeared in 'Bridges' :) .

Beautiful, Kazu. I love seeing the little hints of your recent trip to Italy in here. And boy, can I relate to Fred.

The guy from the 7th panel reminds me of Stewie from Family Guy. XD The coloring is remarkable as ever! Great work, Kazu! :D

Seems like "Penny" would be a more fitting name ;)

Love the new Copper. Happy to see one up so fast =D

Thanks again, everyone!

Josh, dark > Yep. Penny is her name. :) The other two are much more mysterious. In my mind they are still Glasses Girl and Bubble Girl, and I think of them as ghosts that haunt Copper (to me, the "Summer House" comic is a haunted house story). Penny is very much a real person, so she does deserve a regular name. The "Signals" comic was actually made with my wife Amy in mind. She was in New York at the time, before our engagement.

Well I agree about the bubble girl, I don't think she really needs a name, she's more symbolic and I know people from my past who're like that to me, so I get it. The Glasses Girl [Bridget] I think as being a little more real though because she has a more physical impact on the world as opposed to an emotional one and seems to have emotions and will that are separate from Copper's as well, as opposed to the Bubble Girl who takes on more of the will of Copper.

Though I guess I could consider the glasses girl to be more of a poltergeist/exterior demon vs. an interior one that the bubble girl is.

Then again...I'm also probably reading way too deeply into this.
