Hulloo guys!
It's been a while now since I last posted... I haven't been drawing too much lately, but would like to get into it again. I just finished this picture for a friends b-day. It started off as a 3-minute sketch and ended in hours of trying different colors and shadings and stuff. I'm still not that happy, specially since the colors from the prints came out a lot different.
Here goes!

That's a pretty cute bird band! I could do without the noise filter, but the illustration is adorable. :)
I keep a sketchblog here

thanks!
Im not such a fan of filters usually, but I wanted to give it a sort of retro style... Im now looking at it on paper and I don't like it that much either. One day I'll just have to start learning how to work with watercolors!! God give me patience!

I think the noise is okay, but I would suggest you downplayed it to about 50% on the band and kept it att full strength on the background.
