Lovely! I love the stuff in the foreground. And also the lovely contrast of the warm yellows and the exterior winter. Some of the expressions seem a little confusing to me ... are the front two really excited that the third dude is about to answer the question? And why is the fifth guy so excited and looking at the "viewer"? That's a small qualm ... really, really beautiful!

Thanks!

Jeff

I'm guessing they're excited about the paper planes, not the guys about to answer. :)

If I'd grow up in a world with your illustrations in childrens books I would be such a happy child, Pascal. (Although I was a happy child thanks to Quentin Blake. (; ...)

O of course. Thanks Muffin! Maybe a slight change so their eyes looked up a touch ... they seem to be looking directly at the guy with his hand in the air. Still, one way or another, absolutely beautiful.

Yours,

Jeff

This is almost like a comic. At least it feels like it's not suposed to be looked at at once. And it's really comfortable to let you eyes slide along it.

Great piece, campy! My favorite is the teacher..... I also like it because there's a lot to look at in the piece. You may see something the second time that you missed the first time.

This is amazing. I love all your stuff, but for some reason this one really calls to me. I think I like that the narrative is really detailed, that each character really seems to have his/her own distinct personality. I love the colors, too. :D So beautiful!
