Siegfried French Comics animated trailer

Post by bannister » Tue Aug 21, 2007 7:42 am

I think you guys might be interested in this. It's a trailer for an upcoming french Comics about the Siegfried tale. It's beautiful, very well animated. Honestly I think it's a bit too much. Let's hope the book and the story will be worth this big promo stuff.

???
Wait.. this is a graphic novel?
The whole preview is so well animated!! It would seem a shame not to do it as an animated film?
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous( even If I don't really get a sense of the story), I love the art, the motion, the effects...but... A graphic novel?
Wow.

Competition just got tougher, didn't it?

Bannister - when you say "full length feature" do you mean film or GN?

A film.
It should be out in 2009, with the third and last volume of the comics series.

This kind of stuff makes me wish I was majoring in animation.

Absolutely incredible.
