I'm not sure what's going on at the land of Amazon. I ordered a copy
last night when it has a lead time of 1-2 weeks for £10.02, when I
checked this morning it was back to Amazon Marketplace only.
Strangely, despite not being listed on the site again, my order page has
a despatch estimate now of November!
They've also messed up my preorder of Burnout 3 (out today. lead time
1-2 weeks!) and specify shipping of Star Wars Battlefront as 3 days
after it's released. Needless to say I've ordered those two elsewhere
now. It's a shame they don't really seem to have any copies of Flight
though at the moment, I was really looking forward to that.

are you sure? i just clicked on the link for amazon.co.uk and they have both used and new copies of the book which according to the site will ship in 1 to 2 days.

I checked Amazon.co.uk a couple of days ago and they had one new and one used in the Marketplace but nothing actually from Amazon. And the seller of the new copy/copies had kind of scary feedback.
Blackwell's appear willing to source Flight from the US: with shipping about 18 quid (that's what? 45 bucks Canadian?

). But who knows how many weeks it could take...
I may just order it from .ca, and pick it up from my parents at Xmas when I'm there. Because I love having luggage full of books on the tube.

get it from amazon.ca!
not only is it pretty decent price wise, i'm pretty sure it'll ship within 24 hours and that if you decide to buy anything else from there which results in a bill greater than 39 bucks, you have the option of free shipping!
not that shabby.

Does anyone know if theres anywhere in Australia that you can order it from? It costs a bit to get it shipped over from anywhere and takes ages and most of the time if you order things from overseas they are almost destroyed by the time they get here. Yay for border security!

Hey Angie...you can try Ace Comics and Games in Brisbane. If they don't have it in stock they should be able to order it for you quick smart. I know Townsville is a fair way to travel but i don't think there are any comic shops further north than Brisbane.

Either that or you can ring up Borders book shop in Brisbane or Kinokuniya in Sydney.
Hope this helps.
