Where to Order FLIGHT Online - And what you need to know

Post by Stick » Wed Aug 04, 2004 10:39 pm

I thought since alot of people here wanted to know about FLIGHT and where it's available online, i thought that it would be a good idea to make a thread where links could be posted on areas where FLIGHT was available for purchase online as well as any details that maybe important for you, the buyer on what you need to know to get a copy (or two) of the book!

I'll leave this unlocked, so that anyone else can add on to this thread and provide links to websites which will begin distributing FLIGHT!

Here's another link 2 add. For those in the south-east asia region.

Acmabooks.com - $34.88 SGD

I made a slight edit to your post so that it wouldn't open as a search result. I also added the price onto the link. You have my thanks though for finding this link.

The price just needs an update, once upon a time Chapters had it listed that high. Hence why I went with Amazon (for those who care it's $26 on the nose after taxes and regular shipping) who shipped mine Thursday which means hopefully on Monday I'll get my precious new aquisition!

Woah sweet! This just completely killed both of my reasons for not having gotten Flight yet - 1, I was too afraid to get my comic book retailer to order it, and 2 - I thought it would be ridiculously expensive.

Flight... will... be... MINE! *insane cackling fit*

Thanks for the notifications all!

yeah dek, chapters did list it for that much money. Glad to see that they dropped the price down a bit.

Also, previously non listed prices for FLIGHT for .UK and .FR have now been updated with the prices on their site. Amazon.de now has FLIGHT listed, though there has been no price posted as yet for it.

Thanks again all!

I should point out that there's a USED copy of FLIGHT on sale from amazon (according to .uk). I should mention that FLIGHT is a fairly new release, so unless you want it for 11 pounds instead of 16.... get a brand new spanking copy of it! The new book smell itself should be more than enough for you to buy it new! I hear it smells great!

Just received this email:

Hi Kazu
I've been waiting patiently for the UK Amazon site to stock Flight so I can finally get my grubby fingers on a copy -- and now they do! Feel free to pass this info on to anyone in the UK still hunting a copy! http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1582403813

Oops, spoke too soon. Looks like Amazon UK is sold out...

I'm not sure what's going on at the land of Amazon. I ordered a copy
last night when it has a lead time of 1-2 weeks for £10.02, when I
checked this morning it was back to Amazon Marketplace only.

Strangely, despite not being listed on the site again, my order page has
a despatch estimate now of November!

They've also messed up my preorder of Burnout 3 (out today. lead time
1-2 weeks!) and specify shipping of Star Wars Battlefront as 3 days
after it's released. Needless to say I've ordered those two elsewhere
now. It's a shame they don't really seem to have any copies of Flight
though at the moment, I was really looking forward to that.
