This is kind of a general question for flight authors or graphic novelists, have publishers/editors/agents ever pushed you to edit/change/alter your story or art in your comics after completion?

Sure. I always get notes for changes and edits, but at least in the case of Scholastic, I have agreed with most of their criticism and made the changes. For the (maybe) 10% of the time I don't agree, I just stick to what I originally intended, and they're usually fine with that. The notes I get back are pretty minor, though. I had to make massive edits to Amulet 1, but this was because I had a problem with the quality of the material. They did agree that the material was pretty sub-par on the initial drafts, but they were more concerned with me delivering the material on time.
