Expanding my mind...

Post by donnell » Sat Oct 08, 2005 8:07 pm

Well i'm in the bussiness of expanding my mind and the types of music i listen to and lately i've been liking alot of pop-rock (not pop or rock solo) but these are the people i have a crush on:

the streets
the postal service
white stripes
and some others

anyways, reccomendations of people simular to these people (or completely unique music) would be nice!!!

i cant read

I'd say anyone who's a fan of evanescence should check out lacuna coil.

Oh, and to add to the Lacuna Coil - Evanescence group, I recommend a band called Collide. They're neato.

for completely unique music, try the Fiery Furnaces. They're my favorite band and I don't think I've ever heard anything quite like them.

There's also somewhere here a topic about drum and bass music. I don't know who started it, though...

If you want to check out some cool progressive rock, go for King Crimson or Tool. King Crimson has been around for more than 35 years so if you hear a song from them you do not like, go search in another of their era's :D.
Our sentence is up.
