Tom Vek and the Bravery

just got these two albums (Tom Vek = we have sound, Bravery is selftitled)
both awesome albums.
along the band music. got recommended these by an English girl i met while volunteering in sri lanka. she raved about them... can now see why!

The Bravery are fantastic. I guess they could be compared to the Killers, but then my comparisons are usually off.

Is Tom Vek in a similar vein?

not at all really.
more of a raw/garage sound. by a multi-instrumentalist londoner.

The singer of the Bravery used to be in a really bad ska band called Skabba the Hut. I saw them play a couple of times, and nearly cringed myself to tears. Horrible, horrible stuff.
