I drew it in ink and digitally colored it, then I put it over a photo of a real russian doll and toyed with it to make it look like it really exists and give it a folk-art feel. It's for an office party at work, we did some work for the developers and I was asked to do this for a flash animation someone's putting together for the party invitation.

as far as I know.
