It worked for me... Very nice job Pascal; I think your animations are your best stuff. It was really nice (until that depressing reminder about Valentine's Day, hehe).

(p.s. Maybe animations belong in the Storyteller's Circle? Not that I'm really fastidious about forum organization.)

I love your animated shorts, Pascal. You also seem to dish them out without thinking too much about technique. That's pure storytelling. :D On that note, Neil brings up a good point. I think we should just leave these in the Illustration section for now. If there is enough posting of animation in the near future, I'll give it a section of its own.

Yes...storytelling is what i try to go for!!!!
I was thinking about that too.. posting them here or in the storyteller forum...

at the moment, I think it's not going to be an issue for a little while..it seems some very very very good personal stuff is taking priority in my life as of today, and for the next bunch of weeks..
but, it would definitely be something to consider!

Thanks Guys.. these are very sweet feedbacks

so...
don't forget!!

:D

If you built it, they will come....

Pascal's so good at this that it makes me want to learn Flash when I have a little time. I used to have loads of fun attempting stop animation with my dad's video camera, and then later with Mario Paint. I wonder what my animations would look like now...

You should try it..
it's actually a lot easier than it might seem!

by the way.. where are you in the bay area?
Or you in San Francisco itself?
are you going to the APE convention?

I live a bit south of you on the Peninsula (in Palo Alto). As for APE, Kazu has generously signed me up for an exhibitor badge, but I've also been invited to a wedding on the other side of the world... So I'm not sure how that's going to work out yet. Either way I'll have a really cool first week of April!

Thanks about the illustration!

Yes, APE is a blast; I don't know if you've been there before but I think it's the best convention. Really fun to talk to everyone, and not overwhelming. Maybe they'll have another Pixar field trip this year!
