Two more calendar illos

Post by Jason » Sat Dec 10, 2005 2:33 pm

Hey all. Finished these last week, but haven't had much time for posting. They're for a calendar my friends and I put together where each month is a "prediction" for the future.

SEPT: Robotic maintenance tools, like the SmartRake™ (pictured above) will cut down the time spent on tedious seasonal chores, leaving us with more free time.

DEC: Christmas is rebranded by combining religious and secular icons in an effort to bridge the gap between the two markets. But really, somebody out there wanted to see Jesus and Santa kicking it in matching sweaters.

Hey another Jesus/Santa combo! Woo!

These are great! The only thing I'm not too sure about are the scars on Jesus' forehead from the crown of thorns. They might be a nice touch, but I don't think they're really needed. Plus the first time I saw the image I thought Jesus was sweating.

I like the way you draw people. :)
