Yeah, Toriyama's early stuff is hilarious. Basically, he lost it midway through his run on Dragonball when it degenerated into a giant punch-fest, and that's when I lost interest too. I think I should get around to picking up those translated Dr. Slump books soon.

I suggest you to get the amazing artbook who went out in 1993 for the Toriyama Exhibition. Toriyama The World is a good book too.

And to continue with the geek stuff, there's some amazing Toys Lines from several years in stores, with lots of mecha, characters, vehicules, in various ways. Awesome stuff.
