Wow, the polar bear scenery you posted is probably my favourite too. It's gorgeous. I love snow... :) I also loved "Quelle nuit!" Heehee.

En effet, j'aime beaucoup la plupart des choses sur ton site. My French isn't very good, but I'm sure you can tell what I mean. ;)

colorkey

Post by fourmi » Wed Jul 20, 2005 1:31 am

HI jrw! In feature animation ,a colorkeyist is like a colorscript:
I'm working directly with the director, we discuss about the mood he want to see for each sequence and I propose several sketches in color and, with the art director, we select the best one. After that I paint more details with the color range choosed. The background painters will take my work as color reference. You will find here a large view of all the colorkeys(around 400) I've done for the last film produced by Cartoon-Film/Warner Bros "The little polar bear 2"Image You will also find some detailled sequences at this address:http://www.fourmi.info

*Bumpity bump.*

Gorgeous colors. As someone who is still very much a novice at color, stuff like this always amazes me.
