Lego AT-AT's

Post by io » Thu May 12, 2005 2:44 pm

I caught "Star Wars Fever" a couple of weeks ago, and decided to paint one of my lego mini AT-AT's. I used cel vinyls and size 1 and 2 sable brushes. I got ideas for a couple more so now I'm going to use them in a photo illustration.

Next up is making the background of fake snow for the photo, and deciding whats going to be going on in it. I'm only going to be able to use the mini snow speeders because the lego figures are way out of scale with the AT-AT's, and I don't want to use Photoshop. I wish I could use the rebels because they come with blood painted on their foreheads!

Cool! The one with the flames though, AT-AT drag races must be horribly boring. :D

Very nice !
I can give u one tip to make a snow landscape.
For this image i used a sheet of white fabric and a custom brush (in photoshop) for the falling snow.

You can easily make big lanscapes with it.
