The Grotto~

Post by nashya » Thu Feb 03, 2005 2:32 am

Hello, hello. Kind of new here, kind of not. I wanted to say there's some amazing artists here with some truely inspiring visions in fantasy art. I'm overly impressed and inspired and thought I'd post some of my work. I draw comics for fun and seriously considered making them a career (at least part time) early last year. I've since been working on a submission to Image. Much like Flight, it's a project that just started as a dream, hopefully I'll be so lucky as to get picked up and be in the ranks with Flight someday.

Below are some pinups to project 'Grotto'. featuring a few of the characters in the story.

And here's some completely unrelated art that I did about a week ago.

Since I'm working on my submission package I can't post any sequentials here just yet. I'll have some shortly though. I'll continue posting my work here instead of making a new thread each time. Thanks in the meantime and I hope you enjoyed looking at my art. Wish me luck with my proposal.

Very well done. :) I wish you luck with Image, though with how good you are you should do fine.

Oooh, so very nice! Some excellent illustrations there! :D Now I'm salivating at the thought of seeing sequential pages from you.
Best of success with your project. If it's not with Image, someone else is bound to be interested.

With work like this, I'm sure you won't have any problems. They're gorgeous. I love the detail in the first one. Ah, who am I kidding, I love them all. :D

Wow, thanks you guys. *inspired even more so*. With so much good feedback from you all does this mean if I DO get picked up you'll check out the first issue? Maybe even buy it? Lol! Thanks for your support. I'll try to post some sequentials soon. :D

Nice job! The colors on these are really great. I especially like the two last ones, and I don't like the last one just because she's naked. :D
