I haven't been by the forum in quite a while, unfortunately, but I'm trying to make up for it by steadily perusing each and every post (... this could take a while)...
As a break, I thought I'd throw up a thing or two (finally bought Flight btw - absolutely gorgeous)

i like the feel of the 3rd one. think it could be taken a lot farther and look great.

on the first one the legs really bother me. it looks like the character has a broken leg. and its really hard to disctinguish between feet.

after a second look i really like the 2nd one too...especially the head area.

Your style is pretty cool. I liked the first one until I scrolled down and saw the feet. The feet kind of ruin the first one, in my opinion. I really like the pose on the third one, though!

Thx a lot :D

Clank and kamikazestyle - seems to be the feet that're messing up that first one eh? would you say that it's the boots or their positioning or a combination?

I like the lenght of the figures. It makes me traverse all the little idiosyncracies with my eye. I have to agree, the third one down has lot of action in the pose and movement inside of the figure. It's a nice technique and style, please keep it up. :)

where the boot starts...that bend shouldnt be there. its such a hard curve that it makes it look like its either a second knee or a broken leg. instead of the inward turn id bring the boot out more which will also differentiate between the two boots.

kamikazestyle : ya, I see exactly what you mean *nod* I think my eye got a bit too accustomed to the legs but I can definetly see the 'double knee' look there. I'll watch out for that in the future -thanks a lot for pointing that out, I never would've noticed :D

dan and DrakeRed: thanks a lot :D been trying to use more curvaceous gesture lines recently I'm glad to see you like it!

I'll keep posting the last piece as I work on it then

knees and feet

It looks to me like the knees are both pointing in the same direction, but one of the feet is turned out? So you could fix the knee, but it might be easier to fix the foot. I like the extreme curviness of her legs.

The second one is my favorite though.
