Really nice piece Doug, I dig everything about it, color, composition, and your style is smokin. Now I need to look up the Kings of Leon, see if they are any good.

Colors, yup, I am with that. Looks great. I must say that at first glance I thought that the guy up front was sharing an arm with the guy to his left. Right for us viewers. But now I think he is a one armed guitarist. Wich makes me want to look up this band even more.

Thanks guys.

Dik - Your should check em' out if you like kinda dirty swamp country/blues. I'm a sucker for it...so i'm probably a bit biased.

Hup - Yeah...i agree about the arm (Though the only one armed musician i know is from Def Lepard) I was struggling with that lead guy for a while. He kept changing positions and wasn't gelling well with the other guys. I think i should play round with his arm again.

Glad you all dug the colours...having a good time with colouring at the moment.

cheers guys.

I really dig Matthew's (or is it Jared? Hard to tell with all that hair) gumby-like, I-don't-need-no-stinkin'-elbow! arm. Seriously, I do. Don't ask me why.
You really are on a roll with your colours. Keep on rockin', Doug.

I agree with everyone, this image rocks. Lovin' all these music tributes, Doug. The best work often comes about when you're drawing about stuff you love. Keep it going!

Great illustration! I too love the rosy cheeks.
Kings of Leon is a really fun band, dik pose. Sort of Strokes-like, but with very sexy lyrics.
