pin ups

Post by bigg » Mon Aug 30, 2004 9:52 am

so here are two pin ups i just completed. the super patriot one is done by me. i had some more small changes to make, but i have to start on some paying work so this is how it is. the invincible one was penciled by me, inked by marc deering, and colored by brad silverman. they did a great job and it came out hot!

I love the superpatriot pic, it's really impressive. I really like the invincible figure as well, but I think the fathers face and neck may be a little too distorded, at least for my tastes.
But all in all really strong work, they're both just really enjoyable to look at.

Yeah looking at the pic again, the actualy face works for me, I think what throws it off is have the neck go thicker at the top than it is at the base. I really like the face from the nose up though.

First one is great, space feeling and good attitude for the characters.
The "fly glasses" guy is really cool.
