These are cool, Dan. These are the very best kinds of exercises one can do to practice their cartooning. Drawing simple objects in perspective is the foundation for sequential narrative. The more comfortable you are at whipping out shapes that have both depth and character, the easier it will be for you to tell stories without being limited by your skills. Thanks for posting these. And keep us updated on your progress!

Thanks Kaz. I'm currently just looking to draw and paint better. I thought that just going back to work on the little things could tighten things up a little bit. Thanks for the encouragement!

Objects are cool.
Great drawings. I love how a couple of them are floating in space, the bird house, screw etc.

Very nice sketches. really like the cigarette boxes.. I'm just going to say that looks REAL spiffy.
