Different Style

Post by Mike T » Sat Sep 11, 2010 4:48 am

Haven't worked in this style in a long while. Decided to try at it again, this time drawing
all from scratch in Photoshop. It's still hard for me to draw on a wacom tablet while looking
at the monitor at the same time. I would like to try Cintiq 21UX where you can see where
your drawing directly on the screen.

I gotta tell you Mike, you have a couple of really weird anatomical things going on in that drawing. However, I really like your color choices in that first piece.

Keep it up!

I know. The guy it seems like he's twisting all the way around, lol. And then
there's his arm. I'm still trying to learn how to draw with this Wacom tablet.
I didn't start out with a specific idea I just started drawing on the wacom
and this kind of spat out. The sketch version seemed to have come out better.
But it's distracting for me to draw over the sketch layer even when using the opacity
and layer functions. I really use the mouse more to make most of my digital art
while drawing using paper & pencil/pen. But I'm trying to learn how to draw
with the wacom tablet like I draw on paper.
