Beautiful stuff, as always. I JUST got AMULET 2 today and tore through it with glee. (The child of the 80's in my kept playing Stan Bush's "The Touch" in my head during the end. )

The mountains feel very chiseled and ancient. A real sense of weight that helps lift the balloon. Love it!

Holy crap Kazu, those two images are amazing. The textures on the mountains in the first one utterly blow me away, and I love the downtown scene in the second image. You've got such a wonderful way with giving the towns and cities you depict this kind of "stacked" feeling, where it's like instead of single tall buildings standing next to each other, it's more like several small one or two story buildings stacked on top of each other like building blocks. I love it.

Nice illustrations, I haven't had a chance to check out Amulet yet but I must, I really like that cover, I also like the typography for the title really solid stuff man.
