Toph from Avatar The Last Airbender

Toph is one of, if not 'the', my favorite characters from avatar. It is really a toss up between her and uncle, both characters speak to different parts of me. Man, what a deceptively deep cartoon. I love it.

Here we have an older Toph, no doubt sparring with an older Aang. I choose to keep her boyish features, made her thin, kept the bangs to illustrate she doesn’t use her eyes. I think she looks a bit too tall but I didn’t want to mess with it much more so I left it. If she were standing next to another character, her height would still be alright I think. We’d see she’s still short. She’d still be the pint-sized juggernaut we love.

The facial features strike me a ever so slightly skewed, but the left arm and hand are particularly convincing. And the background is remarkably deep given the limited color palette!
