Depression in Threes.

A study of fabric/drapery on the human form with a twist. Also a chance for me to explore my line work. Let me know what you think!

That is some sweet inking there. Tell us some more. How long did it take?

The folds are very tangible.

It took a bit of time drawing the initial sketch because the stripes began blurring together after staring at it too long. But once it was all planned out and I started inking, it wasn't too bad. I should start timing myself, cause I don't know exactly how long it took!

Glad you all like it!

I echo Jacob! The inking is superb, Frances. And I like the minute details around the nose and cheeks.

Oh don't get me wrong. I searingly hate the picture. Loath. Scorchingly. And other flaming synonyms.

No seriously, post more, the realistic style is to die for.

Haha, Thanks again!
I'm very detailed oriented, yet love messy mistakes. I do plan on doing some more illustrations like this, (now that I have some personal time).

I'm actually having a small show with fellow illustrators in Toronto in August. I'll post my work once I've gone through the motions!
