Space Life

Post by MrMagicTrousers » Wed Mar 04, 2009 5:43 am

Hey there, hows everybody? I thought It would be nice to get some feedback from this comic I have been working on. What I've got so far is source material so that I can reference characters and places quickly and create a believable enviroment. At least thats what I hope.
Some scenes of everyday things that happen in space (shooting is more commom than you realise).

Hurrah for imagery!

Oh snap.

If this is what space is like on the daily, I'm good right here on ye olde terra firma.

Other than that, neat little drawings, man. I always like the idea of drawing 'sets' to use/reference later.

I think that you should probably work on varying our line weights a bit, also. I mean, the pictures themselves are a little busy, so it's kind of hard to keep your fore/middle/background separated at a glance. Just keep your closest lines thickest and your furthest lines thinnest. There's more subtlety to it as well, but to start, this is kind of the ground floor of the theory.

Everyone also tends to flatten out just a bit. They have that sort of fly-swatted look about them in the bar shootout scene. So, be aware of that, for all I know it's a stylistic thing, but be aware that this is how it comes across.

And get some pages done!

Keep it up and post more, man.
