jorge f. muñoz's Sketchbook

Post by jorge f. muñoz » Tue Sep 02, 2008 4:44 pm

Hi everybody, i'm new to this boards, and i'm a Flight fan.

my name is Jorge, and i'm a comic artist/illustrator from Mexico.

I don't have anything published in the States, with the exception of a pinup in the comic Wasteland (by Antony Johnston and Christopher Mitten, Oni Press, go buy it!!)

I'll post here some sketches, pages and random illustrations.

Feel free to comment and critique!

over all they're good. I'm not really that into the marker stuff and the sketchbook drawings, they're kind of bla compared to the rest. Your black and white design is great, esp. when illustrating scenes. Rock on and welcome.

My god, man. Your inks are top shelf. I could stare at them for days. I'm going to print some out and tack them up on my wall of inspiration.

Thanks Squiggly_P! , inking is maybe my favorite part of the process, is where the actual drawing happens

here's some pages from my comic Yon Kuma (written by Josh Hechinger) plus some sketches, thumbnails and inprogress.

Hey hey madeleine, thanks for the compliments!

Here I leave you with a 10 page preview of Yon Kuma, I've showed some of the pages a few posts ago.

It's in PDF format, it's less than 3MB
