Ghosts, a short comic

Post by Ashwara » Wed Jul 16, 2008 5:24 pm

I've been wanting to do some more short stories... so here's one! Ha ha.

Originally I started doing it in watercolor but then I decided to do it in ink, since that was my original original intention and I got tired of mixing colours. Ha ha.

:) I love shorts so much and this is no exception. It's not too deep, but it's really nice, and you know the grayscale watercolor style works really well with the tone and isn't something I think I've seen before (though, if it were up to me, I'd make the mother's model be in faint watercolor, maybe with a small aura of watercolor around her as well if it added to the look)...or at least nothing comes to my immediate mind at midnight. Keep it up, I'm interested in your work.

I like the story I think it is funny and sincere.

The artwork is beautiful I love the watercolour style you used. I think the texture of the piece ads a lot, great work.

Thanks a lot everyone! I'm happy that you guys like it.

Especially James_80 saying it's funny and sincere, since that's exactly what I wanted. I love stories that mix humor and sincerity so I try to do it myself, ha ha.
