Thanks Kid. I really like the look of watercolours too, but I'm scared of them. So easy to screw up!

Oh man i know, I used to just fear the use of water color but i found that when they're used really loosely they just have an excellent look, and i think it would just look awesome with your style. I'll post up some of mine, i just recently started to color my drawings now with watercolor and they look excellent..or at least i think so! If you give it a try you should post it, i would love to see what you come up with.

I really like this una of the blade stuff. I really like where your going with these drawings, you can really see your improvement from Much to these latest inkings..really good stuff, i think its more difficult to draw with that type of a cartoon style than a more realistic, but you have such a great eye for detail also which brings it all together so well.

Man these are great, I nice mix of Jeff Smith and your previous Much comic. Is Una a comic you're developing?

Hey Steve,

my only thought on the color is that the most important purpose it should serve is making the image read more easily. Some of these panels are hard to "see"

Thanks Kid. I really should try some watercolour again. Hm...someday.

Frank: I hear you. Colour composition is a really weak area for me. It's hard enough for me to figure out colour theory, let alone effective composition. I need remedial colour training :(

I don't post here too often, but I love the work Steve. The second one there is much better I think.
