Here I was testing some new brushes in Photoshop. I'm going for a Vampirella/Savage Sword of Conan kind of thing.

Holy crap these are amazing! the pic with the goat man on the tree and the really contrasty image of the girl thinking especially... I love your drawing style. Was the goat man pic done with a cintiq!?!

I don't suppose you could describe your method or maybe point me in the direction of some PS brushes to achieve that look? I just cannot draw anything that looks remotely like traditional work in digital.

Hey K-9! Here's where I got the pencil brush and the paper texture. I can't remember where I got the brushes I use for the wash. They're wet media brushes of some kind.

Awesome, thanks Steve. I will try out the brush later. Is that what you are using in these pics tho? doesn't look like pencil to me... your latest drawings are great btw. The fight scene is AMAZING! That is how I want to be able to draw... not quite there yet :( I checked out your comic too. Very nice european feeling to the artwork (I think). And seems V.funny. Doug
