Hey Jake, thanks for looking! Those characters should be in a short story for an anthology (as soon as I can free up the time to complete it).

I chose a different value for the face in the Dinosaur piece because I figured since his head was covered in glass, it would be brightened by the light bounced off the outside of the glass. Of course, that probably makes more sense when the whole piece is colored (one day!).

Wow scott, haven't been on a forums a lot recently but the character designs are really great. The little flames above peoples' heads are a really nice touch that reminds me a bit of Mignola. Even better are all the monster designs. Is this for the next Fablewood anthology? Or a separate project perhaps

Tim: Thanks! Nope, these are for another anthology story. Working on that one as we speak.

Mike: Thank you! That's a great compliment from you, as I've always been a fan of your approach to color.

This week's "Drawer Geeks", my favorite horror staple: Zombies!

I feel like that drawing of galactus should have a turntable in front of him. Nice line work btw. ;)

Here's some stuff I've been working on lately. A few finished pieces, then some sketch stuff. I've been trying to work out more ideas more concretely in the planning stages instead of rushing into finishing a piece. Thanks for looking!

This week at Drawer Geeks, "Genie":

I love that yeti, and the guy on the I-beam is pretty great too.

Thanks squirpy!

Another one:

This was drawn in 1/2 hour (not including Photoshop work), part of an art challenge with a Og for http://www.drawergeeks.com. No refs or anything, so I know about the anatomy issues, but overall a learning experience.
