Now Harry Potter (page 2)

Post by househatke » Wed Sep 26, 2007 11:29 am

Hey all! It's been a looong time since I posted anything here and my concience has started keeping me up at nights. Tossing and turning, just thiinking about the flight forum and how I've neglected it. Now I've started breaking things for no reason, and lashing out at those I care about.

But it's time to fix all that. Time to heal. Time to post some of my more recent scribblies.

I've been doing a lot of children's book style pages lately -mostly centered on two stories, one written by myself and one by a friend of mine. Here are some pages:

It's always nice to see new Hatke.

Where have you been, Ben?

Finally, here is a cover illustration for Gilbert magazine (a magazine devoted to G.K.Chesterton). They had the image made into an actual Christmas Ornament, which was a first for me. And it looks hilarious.

I really like your illustrations! That second one with the mice and the kids is really cool. I also like the dude with the straw clothes.

Thanks, Muffin. Here is a much older picture that, oddly enough, is still in my portfolio.

Thank you, my friends! Here's something totally different:

So one afternoon the other week I got really taken with the idea of batman dancing in the batcave, all on his own. I think they should do some kind of Elseworlds comic where Batman is this cheerful guy who would just start dancing when he hears his favorite songs.
