Long time no post!

Post by AmericanNinjaX » Mon Aug 06, 2007 1:21 am

So my computer exploded back in January and I tried to recover what I could from it...but no luck it's dead taking 90 percent of my art with it since it somehow burned out my backup drive as well.

In any case, I've been drawing a lot lately so here's some stuff I've been up to.

wow, this new stuff is absolutely excellent, man! I am truly soo sorry to hear about your computer-crash. Glad you continiue to draw, though - I've heard of people stopping completely to draw after their computer crashed and they lost a lot of old art.

I especially enjoy that first one in your post, the bat is adorable. :D

Slick work dude; very polished.

You might want to think about one of those online backup services (I use carbonite, but there are others out there). They run about fifty bucks a year, and are absolutely invaluable if you're doing mostly digital work.

I've had sectors go bad and lost some stuff, although nothing as catastrophic as what you mentioned. So, having a remote backup eases my worries.

Ok, this infomercial is now over

Ninja, this stuff is GREAT!

I've missed seeing new stuff from you. Always looks like it wants to be animated.

What are you inking with?

Thanks all.

Steve, I don't ink at all. I do the entirety of it in photoshop with a wacom.

This is all awesome. I am really a huge fan of the X-23 stuff... I would DL it all right now but I need sleep... so instead... I'm commenting that I'll bookmark it and come back later? yeah, I don't think well when I'm this spent. Anyhoo, sorry about your HD crash, but this stuff is an excellent way to get back on your feet.
