New Paintings...

Post by joelfurtado » Mon Jul 30, 2007 11:31 am

Hey,

I just added some new paintings to my website. All of these were done for a sketch group with varrying themes from week to week. Let me know what you guys think.

thanks for the comments! To answer your question Tim, I usually sketch out a concept first on paper, then scan it in and do all the coloring digitally using a combination of Photoshop and Painter. I mainly use painter for everything, and use photoshop for slight color or level adjustments. I'll usually start off scanning an ink wash or some kind of textured image, as a base to paint onto, so the image takes that subtle texture.
