Leonardo Comic?

Post by installer_swan » Tue Jan 09, 2007 12:01 am

I remember long ago seeing a comic book series based on the inventor Leonardo da Vinci. This was a comic book about his cracpot ideas to invent stuff and his evr faithful, though slightly dim-witted assistant, Lackey. I'm trying to track down this comic now, I think the series was eponymously named Leonardo, but I'm not sure. Anyone here seen it & remember it? I'd like to find it hopefully on amazon or somewhere.

Woah, I haven't seen one of these in a *very* long time! I had a few when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure it was just called Leonardo - which makes it hard to search for. Good luck!

Funny, I just picked up the first three books at the comic shop (were there more?) They were tucked away in the corner. The guy said he got them at an estate sale or something. Gave them to me for a dollar each.

They're by Bob De Groot and Turk
Published by Darguad International Publishing, LTD. Greenwich CT

ISBN: 2-205-06579-3

2-205-06577-7

2-205-06580-7

Good luck.

Thanks geckochan & agent44.

I realise I'm almost a year late, but I still want to thank you for the info about de Groot. I managed to get one of the comics, and am now hoping to lay my hands on more of them.
