Bill Peets autobiography

Post by marco » Mon Feb 28, 2005 11:42 am

Just finished it this weekend, it so good. For those of you who don't know peet, he was a storyboard artist for disney and quit after many fallouts with Walt Disney. He eventually left to right and draw some of the best childrens books ever.

This book is done in his distinctive children's book style, a great quick read.

Bill Peet is one of my heroes. I love his stuff. When I was a kid, I read and reread "The Caboose Who Got Loose!" over and over again. I think it was also his work that really taught me to draw in perspective...
