Bruce Timm: Modern Master

Post by WillRyan » Sun Dec 05, 2004 3:52 pm

Just picked this up; it's indispensible for fans of Bruce Timm. He talks a great deal about how his influences can be seen directly in his own work. Most of the things he talks about were aspects I never picked up on. I never realized how much the Archie comics girl designs show up in his characters. It gives a great sense of his history, as well as a great color gallery of some work that I never saw before.

ill second this, the book is amazing if youre a fan of Bruce Timm. I enjoyed his stories about his first adventures as an artist working on the mini heman comics that came with the toys, i remember having those.
