Jim Woodring's Frank Book * STRONG RECOMMENDATION*

Post by Azzamckazza » Tue Oct 12, 2004 4:53 pm

I've been getting into Woodring's stuff lately and the Frank book seems to be the one to get. The art looks fantastic and all the reviews are stellar, but I'm still a bit hesitant to fork over $50 cold

Has anyone got or seen this book?

Its $40.00 cold, so go get that!

Seriously, its one of the best books EVER, there's no reason I can think of that a lover of the comics artform shouldn't run out, trampling over women and children to get a copy.

I hope the kids didn't get trampled too badly...

Um....If you guys haven't seen this book I strongly urge you to check it out. I can't describe it in any other word but 'awesome'

This book truely stands on its own. Haven't read anything like it before. The images and stories are still bouncing around my head refusing to leave (which is good thing - trust me)

I urge you all to get a copy. Sit down, plug your ipod on in with some relaxing music and get ready for one hell of a trip
