The Acme Novelty Date Book vol. 2

Post by nateomedia » Tue Dec 11, 2007 8:28 pm

I just got Chris Ware's new sketchbook in the mail today -- wow. If you want to feel inferior as an artist, this is the book to buy. Sheesh. The stuff in here is crazy beautiful. Sigh.

Anyway, if you're a fan, you'll want a copy.

Have you read http://www.amazon.com/Acme-Novelty-Libr ... 268&sr=1-1? It's my favorite of his. There's this one page where he's explaining the history of the house the main character lives in that is a masterpiece of information design. haha. I LOVE his stuff! So beautiful and simplistic. His stuff seriously makes me all teary-eyed about being an artist. lol.
