It looks like a cross between "A Scanner Darkly" and "Sin City".

Rumors...

Post by Johnny Neat » Wed Jul 19, 2006 5:59 pm

Rumors were true, this is a feast for the eyes and man I want a full serving. Beautiful and inspiring. SinCity could be made into a bad ass tv, cable or additional side films with this look. good looking out SonOfaRich.

Cool! 8) This is what CGI movies should be like. This has got style, not just nicely shaped plastic models. It really reminds me of Airshell, at least visually, if anyone knows that comic.

Personally the clean 'vector-esqe' style of 'A scanner darkly' does absolutely nothing for me, so I was a little doubtful about Renaissance. However I'm pleasantly surprised; the monochrome gives it a slightly edgier feel. Could be interesting.

This film looks really good. Scanner darkley just didn't look that appealing to me. It just looked like a real movie with a bad photoshop filter *shrug*. This however looks a lot more animated to the core. Almost like taking applesead a step further.

Sad...

Dismal reviews are coming in and I'm saddened into possible DVD rental mode for this one :(
