I have a broken optimus prime somewhere. It belonged to one of my brothers and because his leg fell off it never got sold like the others.

Hmm, don't know if I want to watch this.
I might do on dvd one day but I don't have high hopes for it.

Not true not true! the alternator line is completely separate from the films. Optimus is still a truck, just not the same type as he was in the cartoon. Think more of a mack truck.

Lots of images got leaked, though some of them are considered work in progress, so to be taken with a grain of salt.

If you've seen the leaked pic of Megatron, you surely went :"WTF? That's Megatron???"

A friend of mine sent me this pic that sums it up pretty well.

Heeheehee!

Although, on personal taste, I really don't like some of these designs, I reserve judgement until I see them move. There's a rumour going around we may see a new trailer around Thanksgiving.

All I have to say is Ugh. It's just to bah blah mangled blah. This thing is so not functional looking. I'm still spinning from Bubblebee not possibly being a Bug. Retarded!

Wow.

Most of my interest in this movie, which was almost entirely based on nostalgia, is now gone...

Oh well, I'm probably better off. The remaining interest is more of a car-wreck kind of curiousity......which was also there when I first heard about the movie, anyway, ha ha, so oh well.... :P

Hate to get all Character-Design-101, but the biggest problem with these designs is that there's nowhere for your eye to rest. If you just have craploads of detail everywhere, it looks like nothing; the visual equivalent of white noise. Sadly, that's something the original Transformer designs did quite well. Geez, somebody shoulda just hired a Gundam designer to do the robots.

Also, chandelier -- funny!

Have to agree with ya Vince. Busy busy designs, with no well cut silhouettes.

I bought the 20th Anniversary dvd release of the original Transformers Movie (you know.. the one that takes place in 2005) and there's a bonus featurette about the upcoming film. It really doesn't show much but it has a quick bit of Steven Spielberg saying "this film is going to blow"

No wait... that wasn't right. he said "this film is going to blow you away." Ok yah that was it.

Choose high def, to see details better.
And a thousand points to anyone who can recognise the one at the end...cause I sure can't!!
