this is a favorite movie of mine. i know it came out a long time ago, im just curious if anyone still likes it as much as i do.

Yeah, I think it's great. It's actually probably my favourite Coen Brothers film. Also I think I'd give it a place in my elite 'Top 5 Gangster Films Of All Time' if I made one.

Yeah, it's a great flick. A bit different from the Coen's more popular films, but enjoyable all the same. This is where I first got into Gabriel Byrne. He's really great in this. Plus there's some great cinematography. The scene where Gabriel's character takes Turturro's character out into the woods is awesome.

Did anyone else pick up on the hat=heart analogy when Gabriel's character is talking about the dream where he loses his hat? Actually, I didn't pick this up. A friend pointed it out to me while we were watching it.
