Fearless Mr. Fritz - updated 4/15/06

Post by jawa » Mon Mar 13, 2006 6:23 pm

updated with pages 5-9 on 4/15/06

These are the first nine pages of a shorty (mediumy?) I'm working on. Mr. Fritz is a licensed monster security salesman trying to make a few bucks off of high-strung, paranoid Milo (whose name, I have come to realize, is never actually mentioned). This also serves as an illustrated timeline of my getting used to crowquill nibs.

This seems like a fun idea. I enjoyed Mr. Fritz's encouragement of Milo's paranoia. Also, it was fun to see all the different linework styles you used. I'm glad you explained you were experimenting; otherwise I would have been like, "What the heck?"

A couple things... The lettering in panel 3 is pretty hard to read. And one of Milo's legs in panel 4 blends into the background too much.

Keep up the cool story, man!

It had me glued which is a good thing. I find the character development pretty strong here.
