Heehee. I like the coffee beans' personalities. (It was realy hard figuring out whether the coffee should be plural or singular....)
I love the concept here - it's clever but not shallow, your objects seem to have something relevent to say - looking forward to more!!

One small suggestion... if I didn't know what the strip was about, I really would think that the first word balloon in the second panel was coming from the guy, not the cup. You might want to make it point more obviously at the cup, or even use a different color font or word balloon outline for the object's dialogue.

Just a thought. Even though I knew what was going on, that second panel did confuse me at first.
