strip dump - updated on page 8 - 1/21

Post by Phil McAndrew » Fri Apr 15, 2005 10:02 am

I've been trying to keep up with a daily update schedule on my site for about a month and a half now. This past week I took a break from working on a longer serialized story and gave some little one shot strips a try. I'm always a little worried that little strips like this don't please anyone other than myself...I'm usually laughing out loud while drawing them but at the same time thinking "Will anyone else think that this is even a little bit funny!?"

Anyways, here are a few of them...

Springtime (linked because it requires scrolling)

Moustache (linked because it requires scrolling)

And then this one was a guest comic for my friend Ed Brisson, who recently turned 30 years old....

Edit: Here's a few new ones....

I like them, they're funny.

That Krazy Kat strip is really carefully studied. You do a better impression than Spiegelman does.

Mustache is the greatest. Haha. I felt that way when I shaved my beard off. A little tear came out of my eye.

Phil, and I'm being serious here, but seeing Jesus chillin out on a cloud with a bunch of dinosaurs really made my day. Thank you :D

Hi Phil,

When I saw the dinosaur one on your site, I thought it was great idea -- but I did want you to run with it a bit more and explore the implications of a dinsoaur-filled heaven a bit more.

And hey, what about the insects? I doubt there'd even be room for one dinosaur if insects can get in.

And I like all the others as well.
