Nothing is Forgotten - FINISHED! (update 01/02)

Post by ryan a. » Sat Oct 16, 2010 12:19 am

Wanted to see if I could handle the wordless comic, and here's part 1 of my attempt!

I'm really trying to get good at graphic storytelling, so if you notice anything that doesn't work, or something that just plain sucks, I'd be stoked to hear about it.

thank you for looking!

I'm really loving this Ryan... wonderful pacing and tone... it has a lovely mezzotint feel that makes feel etched... Keep them coming :D

Wow that was quick! The frame third from bottom what is it? Like the wood monster... very cool.

Very, very nice! I like this a lot. Especially how you can see the paper fabric and (water colour?). It kind of reminded me of an old childrens book from Ireland up until the creature exited the tree.
As you said wordless comic, I was kind of surprised when you had a THUD! suddenly in there. I wonder if just the outline of the thud could work, or something else maybe?

Anyway, magnificient stuff!
