Here it is page 7! And... less dialogue!

As always love to hear your thoughts.

Page 8 - Rope

Layout wise this is one of the more boring pages, because of the 4 strips with small pictures. You just can’t have a big panel covering half the page on every page. Therefore I am very happy with the overall look of this page, especially the colors of the bedroom make this page look warm and rich.

The last three panels are particularly effective, I think - the progression of action is very good and easy to follow - and you ended the page on just the right note - it almost compels you to turn the page! This is really developing well!

Thanks M.!

I was hoping that last panel would make a nice cliffhanger. Next page is all about descending, I hope I get the action right!

Now things get really thrilling, because these stairs are high! Gnomes are off course extremely tough guys, but it looks like our main character is going to have a really unpleasant meeting with the floor at the bottom of the stairs. And it probably will be quite a bit more unpleasant then the last time he “kissed” the floor (see page 5).

For the technical part of this post I just like to say I’m starting to regret the fact that I put striped wallpaper in every room. At first it seemed a nice and simple way to give the background more shape and appear more colorful. But on this page it was mainly a nuisance. It primarily cost me a lot more time to get the speed in panels 3, 4 and 5 look just right. But I did it and I am very pleased with the end result.

Ha. Nice manipulation of scale for the stairs. I also like the detail of the green striped wallpaper blurring in the third and fourth panel.

Thanks Ryan! I do like stairs, there's another one coming at the end of the story where I'm quite proud of. I'm glad you like panels 3 and 4 because it was a real pain getting right.

Saved by the clean laundry! No kissing the floor, but a comfortable landing in a big pile of soft bathing towels.
Have fun with page 10.

Page 13. Next one will be page 14, the one I started this thread with. It might be nice to compare the two and see what difference 9 months of practice makes.

I'm here! Keep posting! You're doing great.

I got a little confused on the page where he drops into the laundry pile. It's hard to explain but, the first, second and third panels I read in the order of first, third, then second. Did anyone else have this problem? Maybe you could add some arrows to guide the readers eye.

Hi, I really like your comic, the style is great, I like your expressive characters and the colors and shading is very well done.
