I've to say this is my favorite Copper in a long while. I'm a sucker for fishing stories.

I don't think I've ever said so here. But I absolutely love your copper series Kazu!
You have found just the right mix of metaphor and story.

I can so much relate to this one.

I second that. That is an awesome fish.

By the way, Kazu, my wife is a middle school librarian here in Long Beach and she says her kids love Amulet. If you ever want to talk to some kids about your work, I can hook you up with a school full of kids that would love to have you talk with them.

Reminds me that I want to go ice fishing again, as much as I hate how much slower the fish are in the winter. You'd think that they'd be dying for a worm, but noooo, they just swim around and taunt you.

That sounds great. When Amulet 2 comes out, I can get her in touch with the Scholastic folks, and I can make a trip out there as part of my tour (I usually visit a few cities to talk about the book). Can you have her contact me as September approaches?

I love hearing from the kids, They give the best feedback.
