*Updated*9/4/08-Fist of the Pink Snoozle and other tales

Post by Kid Galactus » Sat Aug 23, 2008 12:17 am

Hey guys, I haven't ever posted a comic here I don't think, so I'm a tiny bit intimidated. Anyhow, I've been trying to cut my teeth on teeny little comics, here is one of those comics.

There is a monster.

I hope everyone is pleased.

What's your process for creating the panels? It looks like you're doing them on separate papers and while putting it together you're blowing up some of the images? That way you get a distracting variance in line thickness/sharpness.

I really dig this style, I think it's really brave thing to work in this simplicity, I hope to see more

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Sanaril: There wasn't much of a process for creating this comic, per se'. Mostly I had a bunch of funny little pictures and I wanted to put them all together. . Yeah, there was a lot of resizing going on with this first Pink Snoozle comic. The next one was drawn much larger and I'm hoping the reduction helps hide some of the line inconsistency.

Noname the fox: Thanks! I'm trying to focus on these little comics as a means to get used to producing consistently and more importantly to help me get better at just getting the work done.

Here's another comic. I have to rework the third page and I'll repost it in a couple of days. I know it's kind of hard to follow.

After some encouragement I decided to try hand-lettering out on this one.

I really like the pink snoozle asleep panel... keep them coming! By the way I think your hand drawn type works well... just watch your L's I thought it said AIRTIGHT instead of ALRIGHT on the sleeping panel. :)
